Favorite place to stay
We've been to Cooperstown 3 times for tournaments and Double Play Cabins was our favorite place to stay. It’s a great spot for a team - lots of space for kids to run around - and communal area with fire pits to eat and hang with friends. Cabins were clean and cozy and have dishwashers, ovens and laundry which were super convenient. Highly recommend!

Amazing week in Cooperstown
We had the most amazing week at Cooperstown with our son playing at Dreams Park. The cabin was the perfect location only 7 minutes away. We were able to go back and forth between the games and we cooked out and relaxed. The cabin is beautiful, very clean and stocked with every necessity. Another bonus was the washer and dryer that came in very handy. I highly recommend this beautiful location.

Great place for wiffle ball
We stayed for week 8 of Cooperstown Dreams Park and it was the perfect place! They provided everything we needed for the cabin to stay and cook. The property had a wiffle ball field with bases. There was disc golf and fire pits. The owner was super friendly. We fished the nearby ponds and caught big bass. I would highly recommend this location. It was 6 minutes from the park and very close to town as well. It was a quiet and large setting. Cabin 3 was amazing. If we come back with my younger son we will stay there again. The best place EVER!
We stayed in Cabin 2 and the accommodations were wonderful. Glen kept in touch during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Great, Clean Cabin! My son enjoyed all the space and games that were provided outside. He said it was the best place EVER. Recommend this place for everyone. We were there to watch family play in the Cooperstown Dream Park tournament, Double Play Cabins were right up the road from the fields.

Highly recommend!
Cabin was clean, quiet and in a good location (close to downtown, Cooperstown baseball fields, restaurants, etc). The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, glasses, etc. The beds were comfortable. The campground was beautiful.

Great weekend
Hilltop Cabin A was exactly what we were looking for for our weekend Cooperstown visit. The grounds were beautiful and included a basketball hoop and little playground that the kids enjoyed. Cabin was clean, neat and comfortable ! Would definitely stay at one of the cabins again!

I definitely recommend staying here!
I had a great stay at Double Play Cabins while my son was playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park. Hilltop Cabin A was super cute and clean. The beds were very comfy! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Our hosts provided paper towels, dish soap and sponge, laundry pods and dryer sheets, soap and body wash, etc. This made it so easy to settle in and enjoy without needing to run out for essentials. The grounds are lovely with 2 fire pits, play areas for the younger kids, and even a pond right down the road for the kids to go fishing. Our whole team stayed here together in various cabins which was great!

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at Hilltop Cabin A! It truly felt like a home away from home. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Its location was perfect — just a short drive to Cooperstown Dreams Park and close to downtown Cooperstown, making it easy to enjoy games and explore the area. We definitely recommend Double Play Cabins to any family visiting Cooperstown and would happily stay here again!

Exceptional experience!
Our experience staying on this property was exceptional from the moment our team booked to the time we left. Glen and Diane clearly take pride in providing the best experience, great cabins and making sure you feel welcomed and comfortable. Our entire team stayed while our sons were playing at Dreams Park and the short drive, clean accommodations, having everything you need to be comfortable and outdoor space is simply wonderful. We stayed in Glenview Cabin C which is quaint but perfect. The space was efficient and well set up for our family of 5. Glen made sure we knew he wanted us to enjoy the outdoor spaces - even providing wiffle ball items, bag toss, a basketball court and fire pits, extra tables for a team party, etc. Bonus - the views from the cabins near the top of the hill are unbelievable! And second bonus - the views of the stars at night were unmatched!

Wonderful Fall Getaway!
We have been going to Cooperstown every Fall for years and we have stayed at several different hotels, motels, inns, etc. This is the 2nd year in a row that we stayed at Double Play. The cabin still seems like it is brand new. Very clean and comfortable. We love the fact you have a refrigerator and kitchen as well. The views are beautiful. It is a very quick drive into Cooperstown as well as other attractions like Fly Creek Cider Mill and Brewery Ommegang. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Diane and Glen do a fantastic job and are wonderful hosts. We will be back!

So close to Dreams Park
Perfect place to stay for families that have athletes competing at Dreams Park. Less than 10 minutes from the complex, but secluded so the rest of the family can enjoy time away. Diane and Glen live at the estate, so they are there if there are any issues (which there were none!). Large, well-kept cabins with everything you need for the stay. If I had another 12 yr old, we would definitely stay there again!

Whole Team Accommodation and Party
Absolutely great. Easy to work with, great communication, loved having our whole team on one property. Easy location to get back and forth to Dreams Park too. Super accommodating. We had a food truck join us for one night of team dinner and it was so easy and fun.

Great for our Baseball tournament
We had a great experience staying at Double Play Cabins! Everything was just as described. The cabins were very nice, spacious and well equipped with pretty much anything you needed, especially the kitchen. We also appreciated that they provided towels and had washing machines and dryers in each unit.The grounds were beautiful too. Diane and Glen were very gracious hosts. Very close proximity to Dreams Park as well! I would definitely stay here again!

Cookout and Campfires!
Our whole team of baseball parents stayed on property, in different cabins. Everyone had their own space but easy to get together for lunches and dinners. We pulled all the picnic tables together to create a common space. Adirondack chairs. Many campfire nights. Brought the team one day when they had a long break and did a big cookout for them. Every cabin has its own grill and propane. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you’d need. Linens, towels, soap provided. Washer/dryer in every unit. New construction. Extremely clean!! Owners were great. It was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Lodge - Unit A
Glen and Diane are wonderful to work with. Lodge A was just what our family needed while in town to support our son's Cooperstown Dream Experience. It was clean, well appointed, and fully stocked with everything that was needed. I cannot say enough good things about this place and its owners. I would 100% and emphatically recommend Double Play Cabins to anyone in town.

Wonderful Cooperstown experience!
We had a wonderful stay at Double Play Cabins. Our cabin was Hilltop A perfect for five people. Our hosts Diane and Glen were so nice and so responsive. The beds were comfortable and the amenities just right , including access to a washer and dryer. They even allowed us to have a BBQ with our team , coaches and parents after our last game. The location was perfect 7 minutes to the Dreams Park and the view from our deck perfect. Thank you Diane and Glen for enhancing our Cooperstown experience!!!

Hilltop Cottage
My family and I stayed in the new Hilltop Cottage and it was great! Nice and comfortable 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Big back deck, lots of space to play outside and nice views. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Our second stay at the cabins
My husband and I were visiting family in the Cooperstown area. We’ve stayed at the Double Play Cabins before and loved it so we decided to return. It was just as great as we remembered! A super quiet location with well maintained cabins. They have full kitchens and the one we chose had two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The front porch was a perfect spot to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or the beverage of your choice later in the day. The folks that run the place are amazingly responsive if you need anything but offer you privacy if you don’t. I’ll definitely return and have already recommended to friends.

Spectacular views!
Great cabins and great location...highly recommend. We will be staying here when my youngest gets to 12u!!! The owners are super helpful and are onsite for any immediate needs. 5 minutes to Dreams Park and the views are spectacular.

The Double Play Cabins were PERFECT for our Cooperstown experience.
We were super impressed with how clean and well kept our cabin was. It was an awesome place. Highly recommend it. We were able to cook our own meals, sleep well, enjoy a beautiful view each morning and drive to and from Dreams Park quickly and easily. Diane and Glen are fantastic owners, very attentive and just wonderful people. It was a pleasure meeting them. The Double Play Cabins are an excellent choice for a stay at Cooperstown!

Great for a team or group!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the double play cabins. They were just the right size, clean and close to everything. We were playing at Dreams Park and it was under 10 minutes to get there. We enjoyed having campfires on site and having the team back for a night. Diane and Glen were extremely accommodating. If you’re able to book one of their cabins, do it! Don’t think twice!

Highly recommended property
Diane's place is set in an awesome big private land with a lot of area outside the cabin to have fun with family, especially with kids (there was even kid's slides and swings). The cabins were recently built and are clean and provide the experience which you expect from a new property. Diane had stocked the cabin with all the amenities in kitchen so it's easy for a travelling family to manage cooking. It is 5-10 minutes from all the areas attractions (Otsego Lake, downtown, breweries, etc.). Diane is an amazing host and was always available to answer our questions and help us. She was prompt in providing the details and directions, etc. for the place. She even helped us light a bonfire one night and we were able to spend quality outside time as a family.

A few miles from the Hall of Fame
Perfect cabin for our family as we were in town for the Cooperstown Dreams Park baseball tournament. It was clean and comfy, minutes from the baseball fields, and just a few miles from the Hall of Fame. It was great to be able to have a nice quiet place to relax each night. A+++

Nice for Hall of Fame trip
My wife and I booked the cabin for a trip with our daughter to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Conveniently located close to downtown Cooperstown and the Blue Trolley Stop. Cabin was super clean, very spacious, and reasonably priced. While we only stayed two nights, a multiple night stay would be ideal as the cabin is fully furnished with a complete kitchen, including all the dishes, cooking utensils and pans you could need. Communication from Diane and Glen was outstanding. Highly recommend for anyone staying in the area. Would definitely stay again if our future travels take us to the area.

Baseball Team Stay
We had a wonderful time at Double Play Cabins while our boys were competing in Cooperstown! Our team rented the entire site of cabins. Each cabin was well-appointed, clean, comfortable and perfect for our team! And Diane and Glen were so accommodating and gracious. Wonderful place!
We just stayed here for the second time. The cabins here are absolutely immaculate! Beautiful, up to date cabins with literally everything you need for a super easy, relaxing stay. The cabins are more than spacious enough for me, my wife, and four little kids. The location is beautiful and there’s nothing more you could ask for. Glen and Diane are the nicest people to deal with from booking and throughout the duration of your stay. We’ll keep coming back year after year!

The Double Play Cabins were a wonderful place to stay while we were in Cooperstown to watch my son play baseball. The cabins are spacious and so homey and are outfitted with so many amenities you couldn't ask for anything more. Diane and Glen are very nice and take great pride in keeping their property and the cabins very meticulous. This has been my 4th time staying in Cooperstown and this was # 1 in all the places I stayed. I would definitely recommend you to stay here, you will not regret it and you will feel like it is home, plus it is so clean.

Quiet retreat
Double Play cabins was a perfect place for our family to stay. Its clean and new. Our son was at Cooperstown Dreams Park while we were minutes away. Our party included 3 adults and 2 children, we had plenty of room. The cabin has air conditioning and washer/dryer. The appliances are new. A grill is provided. The owners are extremely nice and available to help with any questions. The property is beautiful. I would highly recommend this location to anyone especially for Cooperstown Dreams Park families. It is literally 3 turns away! The night my son was checked out to stay with us we were able to grill hamburgers, make him a great meal, relax in a spacious cool cabin and he got a great night's sleep before heading back to the park.

Amazing!
We stayed at Double Play Cabin 1 while our son played at Cooperstown, which is a 5 minute drive. The cabin was immaculate and surprisingly spacious. There is an empty field across from the cabins where kids can play wiffle ball or football. The owners made sure that the cabin was stocked with everything you would need for a cabin vacation (towels, sheets, detergent, soap, garbage bags, etc). If you are looking for a great vacation rental while in Cooperstown, Double Play is definitely the place to stay!
